Kevin Rogers
Kevin Rogers is the Director of Technical Theatre and Forensics at Bartlett High School. He has received two High School Musical Theatre Award nominations for Outstanding Lighting Design for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Disney’s Tarzan and one nomination for Outstanding Set Design for Disney’s Tarzan. Other lighting designer credits include work for Hairspray, Footloose, Oliver, and Grease at Harrell theatre, Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some), I Hate Hamlet, and The Game's Afoot at Germantown Community Theatre, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe at Desoto Family Theatre (Allie Nomination).
Other theatrical work includes directing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Harrell Theatre and performing in the role of Mendel for Fiddler on the Roof at Theatre Memphis.
He has a BA in Theatre and Oral Communication from Harding University and was named a 2016-2017 WREG News Channel 3 and Tennessee Education Lottery Educator of the Week, and the recipient of the 2017-2018 THSSDL Krider Award for Outstanding Speech and Drama Educator of the Year.
