emily draffen

Emily Draffen came to Memphis as an associate company member with Playhouse on the Square in 2012. Since then she has enjoyed appearing in area productions like Sense & Sensibility (Elinor) and Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene) at Theatre Memphis, and Prisicilla, Queen of the Desert (Diva 3) at  Playhouse on the Square. After receiving her BFA in Acting, and minors in Musical Theatre and Writing from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, she worked at various regional theatre companies like the Riverside Theatre in Iowa City and Festival 56 in Princeton, IL. She's now proud to call Memphis home and to be a part of this theatre community. ​
