Carol Wolder
Carol Wolder has been involved with Memphis Theater since 1997. She began her theater career at Theatre Memphis as the Assistant Stage Manager for The Music Man. She then spent the next 3 year stage managing, running lights and floor managing shows for theaters such at Theater Memphis, Playhouse on the Square, Germantown Community Theater and Theater Works. Carol then turned her eye to acting and has since acting in numerous plays and musicals across our fair city. Her favorite shows include: Pirates of Penzance, The Who’s Tommy and The Pillowman at POTS, Social Security at GCT, Lost in Yonkers, Young Frankenstein the Musical and Side Show at Theatre Memphis.
Carol has worked at ALSAC/St. Jude since November of 2009. She was in their Marketing department until last year when she made the leap to the Fitness team. She is the Project Manager for among other events, the Memphis Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer and the Memphis Marathon.
Carol grew up with dogs, and has always had a dog in her life until bought a home in East Memphis and was adopted by a stray cat. Now having lost her last dog in 2016, most people think Carol is a crazy cat lady. That isn’t true. It’s just that her cat, Charlotte, is a perfect cat and people want to see her pictures and hear about what she’s doing. Carol has adopted her first kitten. Minnie is now 3 months old and her Facebook page will never be the same again. It's all cats all the time.
