Bill Burtch
Bill Burtch has been an Ostrander judge since 2014. With a rich performance history in Musical Theater, Opera, Cabaret and Choral Singing, Bill has performed in venues in NYC, Detroit, Omaha, Columbus, Tampa, and Washington, DC. In Memphis, a resident since 1996, he has performed at Playhouse, TM, and Circuit Theaters in shows such as Company, A little Night Music, Joseph and the Amazing…, 42nd Street, La Cage and Pageant, to name a few favorites. Bill has also served as Music Director for Churches in Omaha, Detroit and Memphis as well as for the Ostrander winning production of Zombie Prom. Having spent 4 years performing with the Omaha Opera Company, Bill’s training includes years of classical voice and piano and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a Music Performance Minor. Cabaret Theater is one of Bill’s favorite forms of theater and he has written and performed two solo cabaret shows. During the day Bill is the owner of Harmony Coaching & Consulting a Professional Development/Training and Executive Coaching firm he founded in 2001. Bill feels privileged to be part of the Ostrander program and the amazing Memphis Theater Community and thrilled to honor the best of the stage each year.
